Tax Assembler/Operations Assistant

Position Overview

GRB&A is currently seeking a Tax Assembler/Operations Assistant to make enormous contributions to productivity at all levels of the organization. Along with a capable team, this person will assemble and deliver all final tax returns and financial statements, assist in the execution of administrative activities and will be empowered to make decisions that result in a positive impact.

The ideal candidate will be experienced and highly skilled in working in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a proactive, self-starter who possesses exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills, both oral and written. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assembles and delivers completed tax returns and financial statements
  • Provides administrative support to the team
  • Produces and distributes analytical reports for the leadership team
  • Facilitates internal and external communications, including newsletters and social media
  • Prepares and receives mail and deliveries
  • Maintains records as dictated by regulatory requirements
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

  • Ability to work unsupervised and initiate tasks, see a need and execute
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized with an attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task, especially during high volume seasons
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office a must

Experience

  • 3-5 years prior administrative experience a plus
  • Experience in a CPA firm a plus
