Staff Accountant

Position Overview

GRB&A is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate holds a CPA license or is working toward completing their CPA exam. While this role requires a basic understanding of accounting principles, we are seeking candidates who are determined to advance their careers!

Responsibilities and Duties

• Completes compilations, reviews and audits.
• Completes business and individual tax returns.
• Develops the ability to prepare cash and accrual accounting jobs from source data to financial statements.
• Performs attestation engagements.
• Prepares business, individual and related tax returns.
• Reconciles assigned accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
• Accurately prepares year‐end journal entries.
• Develops proficiency in the firm’s computer programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from an accredited University
• Holds or is currently seeking a CPA license
• Solid communication and client service skills
